Senior QA Analyst (Data + AI)

Role overview

Wissen Infotech is seeking a Senior QA Analyst with 5 to 8 years of experience to support quality assurance for data-led and AI-enabled systems. This role focuses on validating ETL flows, backend behavior, and large-scale data outputs while also building smarter automation using Python and AI tools such as Copilot and Cursor.

What you will do

• Review business needs, data movement, and overall system design to shape effective testing.
• Help define the test approach and execution plan for applications and ETL processes.
• Carry out functional, integration, regression, and data validation checks.
• Run SQL and Snowflake queries to verify large datasets and confirm data accuracy.
• Validate ETL workflows, including source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, and reconciliation.
• Create and support Python-based automation scripts and testing frameworks.
• Design AI-assisted automation using Copilot, Cursor, and large language model tools.
• Automate checks for data quality, unusual patterns, and result reporting.
• Investigate data mismatches and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve and fine-tune validation and automation frameworks over time.
• Keep QA documentation current, including test cases, validation queries, reports, and AI workflow records.

Required skills and experience

• Advanced SQL knowledge, including joins, window functions, CTEs, and query performance tuning.
• Strong Python programming ability for scripting, automation, and data validation.
• Practical experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse platforms.
• Good understanding of ETL and ELT processes, data pipelines, and transformations.
• Experience using PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar automation tools.
• Familiarity with Copilot, Cursor, generative AI tools, and LLM-based workflows.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-supported automation practices.

Preferred exposure

• Integration of automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with big data tools such as Databricks or Hadoop.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
• Exposure to LLM-driven automation or other AI-based testing tools.

This position is based in Bengaluru, India. The notice period is immediate.

Eligibility

Applicants should have a B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Business System, Computer Science/IT, or a related field.
