Job description

About Front Row and the Role

Front Row collaborates with top brands to boost their ecommerce growth by utilizing proprietary technology and expertise to design, market, distribute, and scale brands globally. We are seeking our inaugural Senior Product Marketing Manager (f/m/d) for Catapult Analytics to spearhead the go-to-market strategy from inception. This role involves articulating intricate product features into persuasive narratives that engage customers, generate pipeline, and spur product adoption. While situated within Front Row's central European Marketing team, the focus will be dedicated to Catapult, building a robust product marketing function for the business through close cross-functional cooperation with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to position Catapult as the leading analytics platform within our target market. The position is full-time and based in Hamburg, with remote work options available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the core positioning framework, value propositions, and messaging hierarchy for Catapult Analytics across diverse customer segments and personas.
  • Translate technical product features into clear, benefit-oriented stories for buyers at all stages of the funnel.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new feature launches and significant product releases, including impact measurement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management by providing market and customer insights to inform the product roadmap.
  • Conduct competitive research, including win/loss analysis, market teardowns, and ongoing market monitoring to ensure positioning stays ahead.
  • Support Sales and Customer Success teams as a storytelling partner, equipping them to communicate Catapult's value confidently throughout the customer journey.
  • Organize regular enablement sessions to update teams on positioning, competitive advantages, and new capabilities, serving as a key resource for competitive positioning in deals.
  • Perform buyer and win/loss research to refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and maintain persona profiles guiding product and marketing teams.
  • Work with Customer Success to identify opportunities for expansion and customer advocacy.
  • Coordinate with the central European marketing department to ensure all campaigns and content accurately reflect Catapult's positioning.
  • Define and monitor product marketing KPIs such as win rates, sales cycle duration, message resonance, content engagement, and launch success, reporting results to leadership.

Expectations for Success

Success in this role means transforming how Catapult is perceived internally and externally. Sales and Customer Success teams confidently express Catapult's value using a consistent and resonant narrative. The market recognizes Catapult’s distinct position, leading to improved business results through elevated win rates, shortened sales cycles, and better retention driven by strong positioning rather than quantity of output. The role demands establishing a scalable product marketing foundation and becoming a strategic partner within the company.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in product marketing primarily within B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of bringing SaaS products or features to market from strategy through execution.
  • Comfortable operating as a first or early-stage product marketing manager, adept at building processes from scratch.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both German and English, capable of producing concise written documents and delivering executive presentations.
  • Strong analytical mindset, utilizing data to guide strategies and assess impact.
  • Expertise in competitive research, including win/loss analysis.
  • Proficient with common product marketing management tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Klue, Crayon, Gong, or equivalents.
  • Possess a builder’s mentality with enthusiasm for creating new processes and approaches.
  • Highly collaborative, preferring influence over authority.
  • Customer-centric mindset, always considering perspectives from the buyer's point of view.
  • Adept at managing ambiguity and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong ownership and drive to carry projects through to completion.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Opportunity to engage in diverse projects working with established German brands and agile digital players.
  • Full ownership of personal projects with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Unlimited budget for learning and development, including access to Gallup StrengthsFinder.
  • A diverse, international team comprising over 30 nationalities.
  • Collaborative culture emphasizing straightforward communication and client partnership.
  • Modern office located centrally in Hamburg with options for remote work.
  • Regular social events and team retreats to foster team bonding.
  • Flexible working hours with the possibility of working between 20 and 40 vacation days annually.
  • One week each year designated for remote work from our Sunshine Office abroad.
  • Mental health support via OpenUp.
  • Lunch allowance, EGYM Wellpass membership, bike leasing options, pension plan, and subsidy for the Deutschland Ticket.
