Senior Planning Manager - Saudi National

About the Role

As a Senior Planning Manager reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts of a landmark mixed-use development project in Riyadh. This infrastructure initiative aims to create a globally recognized, self-sufficient community featuring multiple iconic facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of planners.
• Develop, maintain, and control the project work breakdown structure (WBS) and the integrated master schedule.
• Collaborate closely with Package Managers, Consultants, and Contractors to ensure alignment and coordination.
• Analyze schedules and progress reports submitted by Consultants and Contractors, providing insightful evaluations.
• Conduct critical path analyses to monitor project timelines.
• Perform independent risk assessments related to Consultant and Contractor schedules.
• Prepare detailed monthly and weekly status reports for stakeholders.

Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 15 years of overall experience in relevant fields.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar planning managerial role on projects.
• At least 5 years of regional experience within this geography.
• Professional memberships and charterships pertinent to the field are mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering and commercial dimensions of major civil and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient user of Primavera P6, Pertmaster, and MS Office suite.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling networks, resource and cost loading methodologies, and risk management principles.
• Proven capacity to monitor progress, identify trends, and suggest corrective measures effectively.
• Excellent technical report writing abilities.
• Fluent command of English, both verbally and in writing.
