Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to contribute to the advancement of our innovative Issuer platform. This position involves utilizing your advanced expertise in Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, while also engaging with frontend development using frameworks such as Angular. You will play a leadership role, guiding junior developers and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain robust Java applications using Spring Boot, managing key components and ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Lead technical strategy discussions and contribute to the platform’s roadmap.
• Mentor and support junior developers to foster growth within the team.
• Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and engineering peers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Champion best software development practices including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify technical challenges proactively and propose innovative solutions to mitigate risks.
• Contribute continuously to improving development processes and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Significant professional experience in software development with a strong command of Java and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or other contemporary frameworks.
• Firm grasp of object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Extensive hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and databases covering both SQL and NoSQL.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced developers.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Experience in the financial services sector.
