Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team, contributing at the heart of our operations. This role encompasses financial planning and forecasting, strategic collaboration with go-to-market teams, and producing executive and investor reporting. You will work closely with the CFO and senior leaders, influencing the Finance team's strategy and operations while integrating modern tools and AI to enhance financial processes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee a comprehensive consolidated financial model covering profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Continuously refine forecasting models related to key financial metrics such as revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses, ensuring accurate assumption documentation and scenario analysis.
  • Lead the coordination and consolidation of business unit inputs during the annual operating plan process to align on critical assumptions and present findings to Finance leadership.
  • Prepare detailed model outputs and variance analyses during monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, providing insightful commentary to Finance leadership.
  • Translate operational factors—such as headcount adjustments, usage trends, sales pipeline changes, and product timelines—into financial model updates and share implications with the team.
  • Support the development of new financial planning processes including implementation of planning tools, integration of AI solutions, and data verification as the Finance function grows.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to extract, cleanse, and analyze pipeline and bookings data for revenue forecasting, developing deal sizing models and segment insights.
  • Identify and report unusual trends or anomalies in go-to-market data to assist Finance in interpretation and decision-making.
  • Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to assess financial implications of roadmap initiatives, product features, and internal tools investments, translating operational metrics into financial inputs.
  • Act as a responsive internal finance partner for ad hoc analysis requests, independently managing scope and timelines.
  • Contribute to recurring reporting cycles including leadership calls, board presentations, and investor materials by managing data pulls, slide creation, and segment deliverables.
  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial reports, proactively correcting discrepancies.
  • Utilize AI tools to expedite analysis, reduce repetitive tasks, and enhance the quality and efficiency of financial outputs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining integrated three-statement financial models including consolidated P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Understanding of consumption-based business models.
  • Advanced Excel modeling capabilities, capable of constructing and auditing complex models independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience preparing polished materials for executive audiences such as board members or investors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Curious and proactive about incorporating AI tools into financial workflows, with experience using tools like Claude considered advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
