Role Summary
The Senior Engineer for Utility & Project will support facility expansion initiatives and oversee utility-related project work at the site in Morinda, India. The role involves coordination, compliance, supervision, and technical support for ongoing utility and infrastructure activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, and execution of facility expansion projects.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to help ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Make sure site activities align with building regulations, safety rules, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain compliance with site safety and strategic requirements, including pollution control, fire safety, and ISO standards.
- Carry out risk assessments and introduce corrective actions where needed.
- Oversee technicians and contractors involved in utility and facility projects.
- Deliver training and capability-building support for utility team members.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout operations.
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing and reviewing RFQs and BOQs, working with AutoCAD and project management tools, and handling utility systems such as chillers, HVAC, compressors, and electrical distribution. Familiarity with ISO requirements and environmental compliance standards is important, along with strong analytical ability for problem-solving and Why-Why analysis.
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Tech / B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical are eligible to apply.
