Role Overview
This leadership position is critical in driving modernization across organizational policies, workforce design, change management, and people-centric practices aligned with current trends such as AI integration, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility (EDIA), and wellness. Serving as the key steward of human, behavioral, and process change in the context of digital transformation, this role works at the intersection of People & Culture and Technology teams, promoting a human-centered approach to change that emphasizes capability growth, adoption, and sustainable value enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement organizational health strategies that utilize workforce data to synchronize structure, roles, policies, and cultural initiatives with the OMA’s strategic goals.
- Champion continuous improvement in People & Culture systems, positioning the workforce for future readiness.
- Lead enterprise-wide change enablement for digital transformation, adapting roles, workflows, and decision-making alongside advancing AI capabilities.
- Design and manage structured change management frameworks for technology and people initiatives, collaborating with technology and business leaders on readiness and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and resolve current and upcoming skills gaps by collaborating with Talent Development for upskilling and reskilling programs.
- Guide leadership teams in adapting human judgment and oversight as AI becomes more prevalent while ensuring balance between productivity, wellbeing, and equity.
- Enhance data-driven workforce strategies through advanced analytics and interpretative governance for informed decision-making.
- Embed culture, EDIA principles, wellbeing, engagement, and adaptability into leadership practices, policies, and change initiatives.
- Provide strategic advisory support on workforce risks and opportunities related to organizational change and new technologies, emphasizing equity and behavioral insights.
- Participate in AI governance, ensuring ethical, workforce, and equity considerations are integrated into technology deployment policies.
- Lead and nurture the Organizational Development team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, and inclusive environment through coaching and resource alignment.
- Collaborate with People & Culture leadership to ensure alignment across organizational design and cultural transformation efforts.
Qualifications
- A degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience with systemic organizational change, including culture transformation, engagement, and organizational design.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes and advise senior executives.
- Certifications in Organizational Development (e.g., OD Certification Program) and Change Management (e.g., Prosci) are advantageous.
- Credentials such as CHRP or CHRL are considered assets.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading enterprise transformations with a strong foundation in EDIA and inclusive practices.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex portfolios at a senior leadership level.

The OMA operates a permanent hybrid working model that requires some days onsite at the Toronto office.
