Role Overview

This senior leadership position combines three traditionally separate areas—Manufacturing, Logistics, and Operational Excellence—under a unified command, reflecting the organization's insight that these functions achieve maximum impact only when integrated.

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President based in the US, this role carries varied geographic scopes: Manufacturing responsibilities cover the Asia-Pacific region; Logistics responsibilities encompass global inbound and outbound operations; and Operational Excellence responsibilities extend enterprise-wide.

The successful candidate will collaborate across all regions and business units, including finance and procurement, to enhance the effectiveness of the global manufacturing and distribution network and instill operational excellence as a core organizational culture rather than a temporary initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing function in Asia Pacific by managing safety, quality, cost, delivery, and output standards at all plants while fostering a consistent leadership approach despite diverse regional labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and supplier environments.
• Take comprehensive global responsibility for logistics, managing inbound materials and outbound distribution, addressing network design, freight cost management, trade flow optimization, lead time reduction, and improving supplier logistics performance.
• Champion operational excellence enterprise-wide by applying advanced Lean, Six Sigma methodologies along with Industry 4.0 technologies, including digital operations, connected manufacturing, data analytics, and automation. Enable data-driven and tailored operational improvements based on site maturity.
• Drive embedded cultural transformation, facilitate structured problem-solving at all organizational levels, and ensure measurable improvements in cost and efficiency continuously.
• Engage as a strategic partner alongside regional leadership, business units, finance, and procurement to secure commercial alignment and effectively justify investments and operational decisions.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Proven extensive senior leadership experience managing multiple manufacturing sites with direct responsibility for operational performance outcomes.
• Substantial global logistics expertise covering both inbound and outbound supply chain flows, freight strategy, trade regulations, and complex network management.
• Deep mastery of operational excellence disciplines, with documented success in Lean and Six Sigma and digital operational transformation; formal Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred but measurable impact prioritized.
• Experience working within a US-headquartered multinational matrix environment requiring autonomous operation while maintaining strong upward and lateral stakeholder engagement.
• Strong background in high technology, critical infrastructure, electronics, or complex industrial manufacturing industries characterized by rapid pace and technological complexity.
• Excellent executive presence and influencing skills applied to matrixed, cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary approximately SGD 330,000.
• Performance bonus ranging between 30% to 40% of the base salary.
