Position Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee and validate civil engineering designs, ensuring conformity with local regulations, industry mandates, and client specifications. Key duties involve managing project planning, supervising junior engineers, coordinating across architectural and other technical disciplines, and preparing comprehensive design documentation and engineering calculations. The incumbent will also handle stormwater management systems, site development layout, infrastructure planning, and facilitate approval processes with regulatory bodies. Additional responsibilities include providing technical mentorship, attending site coordination meetings, and ensuring projects progress within quality, timeline, and budgetary expectations. This is a full-time position based in Ad-Duqqi, requiring on-site presence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in civil engineering design and capable of leading complex projects from initial concept through to construction documentation.
• Experience in project coordination, client liaison, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Skilled in project scheduling, resource management, and delivering engineering results on schedule.
• Expertise in stormwater management, including drainage system design, flood prevention strategies, and adherence to relevant codes and standards.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional civil engineer registration or eligibility is preferred.
• Experienced with civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools; knowledge of local authority regulations is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities, with aptitude for mentoring junior engineers and engaging effectively within multicultural teams.
