Role Overview
The Senior Business Systems Analyst for Service Management and HR provides extensive support to SAP application users and related software. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, enhancement, troubleshooting, training, and report development. The primary focus is on Sales, Service, and HR functions mainly for Tremco's North American operations, with potential support extending globally. This role ensures effective use and continuous improvement of application systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer insights and feedback on SAP module implementations and new software releases, including third-party tools.
- Deliver advanced (2nd and 3rd level) help desk support and train users, preparing materials and conducting sessions for IT staff and end users.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the justification for system developments and improvements.
- Serve as liaison linking business users, software vendors, and user communities to manage issues, explore enhancements, share best practices, and track product developments.
- Perform system analysis, configuration, and address tasks related to interfaces, data migration, and customized reporting.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and draft functional specifications for system changes, integrations, reports, workflows, and process optimization; collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Advise users on suitable methods to fulfill requirements, including standard SAP functionalities, specialized configurations, PC-based data analysis tools, custom reports, complementary software, or process changes.
- Design and support users in mapping business processes, creating documentation, preparing training content, and conducting training delivery.
- Execute thorough testing and quality assurance reviews for new or updated system functions, reports, procedural documentation, and training materials.
- Potentially lead teams or groups for functional projects in sales, service management, construction management, or HR.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in leadership roles such as manager, supervisor, or group lead.
- Over 5 years of experience in Service or HR functions.
- Between 8 to 12 months of SAP S/4 HANA implementation exposure.
- At least 3 years serving as an SAP Super User within the relevant discipline.
- Strong customer service focus with adaptability in client interactions.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- Capability to appreciate diverse business and user needs and continuously expand technical and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with efficient time and project management abilities sensitive to timelines.
- Proficient in English for reading, writing, and communication.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of overall business operations and detailed expertise in specialized areas such as manufacturing, finance & accounting, or sales & distribution.
- Deep knowledge of SAP software, including functionality, configuration, reporting, and user support.
- Competence in analysis, system design, and testing methodologies.
- Strong project management capabilities including planning, methodology application, time tracking, and leadership.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with report development tools, report writers, and querying tools.
- Basic IT network communications knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits
