Position Overview

The Senior Associate role within the People and Experience Team (PET) focuses on championing the needs and growth of entry-level employees in New York across three business pods. The role emphasizes relationship management, emotional intelligence, and operational support to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 1:1 engagement with early-career staff to monitor well-being and address burnout risks.
• Assist junior talent development and guide mid-level managers on constructive feedback techniques.
• Work closely with PET leadership to handle complex employee relations confidentially and effectively.
• Facilitate consistency and alignment across multiple pods regarding procedures and employee milestones.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and kickoff sessions to foster strong employee connections from the start.
• Support PET projects, innovate processes to scale support including onboarding and exit interviews.
• Oversee scheduling and logistics for PET activities, ensuring smooth operations.
• Collaborate on refining PET workflows for improved efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ideal 1-2 years experience in HR or people support functions with solid HR systems and policy knowledge.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive interpersonal situations with discretion.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills to juggle complex tasks across multiple teams.
• Proactive problem solver who offers practical solutions beyond identifying issues.
• Eager learner with a growth mindset oriented towards coaching and talent strategy development.
• Proficient with G Suite and adaptable to people management technology like HiBob.
• Maintains confidentiality concerning sensitive employee information.
