About Global Delivery Services (GDS)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead decision-making for SAP application development and optimization initiatives.
• Effectively manage resources to ensure timely, high-quality task completion.
• Oversee team allocation, task distribution, and performance evaluations.
• Provide necessary tools and support to help the team achieve its goals.
• Promote process improvements and foster a collaborative working environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in ABAP, including Object-Oriented ABAP and BAdI implementations.
• Experience working with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector technologies.
• Proficient in data provisioning and OData services testing.
• Understanding of SAP Workflow processes.
• Basic knowledge of SAP Basis and authorization concepts.
• Hands-on experience in SAPUI5 and Fiori elements for app development and front-end extensions.
• Strong skills in Core Data Services (CDS) development.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful services on SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with extending standard Fiori applications and SAP BTP services.
• Good analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Preferred but not mandatory: SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Development Associate.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• 7 to 11 years of pertinent industry experience in SAP technologies.
• Good understanding of S/4 key user, developer extensions, and side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP is advantageous.
