Role overview
Cintas is hiring a Route Service Representative to oversee and develop customer relationships within the Rental Division. In this role, you will drive a truck on a set route and serve an established customer base by delivering and collecting uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning supplies, and other facility service items. The position is hands-on, fast-moving, and involves both indoor and outdoor work.
Training and work style
- A structured 10-week training program is provided.
- Once assigned to a route, compensation includes a fixed base salary plus commission opportunity.
- Most schedules follow a 4-day workweek.
- Most shifts do not include nights or weekends.
- Performance-based monthly and quarterly bonuses and incentives are available.
Key duties
- Represent Cintas directly to customers and build strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Maintain service quality and address customer issues before they escalate.
- Increase revenue in the existing account base through upselling and cross-selling.
- Handle renewal discussions for service agreements and manage inventory in a safe, professional manner.
- Follow all driving rules and vehicle compliance requirements.
Requirements and qualifications
- Must satisfy provincial rules for operating a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
- A valid, unrestricted full driver’s license is required before the first day of work.
- Applicants should be able to meet the physical demands of the role.
- A high school diploma, GED, or military service background is required.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work in a team-driven environment are important.
- A positive attitude, organization, ambition, and a service-oriented mindset are expected.
