The Opportunity
An opening is available for dependable and enthusiastic cleaners to join the team in Miranda, NSW. The position suits someone who works well in a busy environment, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining tidy, welcoming areas for clients and customers.
This is a full-time role with multiple vacancies, covering both weekday and weekend shifts. The role is paid at Award Level 2.
Work Schedule
The roster runs from Monday to Wednesday and Saturday to Sunday, from 6:00 am to 2:06 pm. This works out to 5 days per week and 38 hours per week.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
- Clean upholstered and other furnishings as needed.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Clean toilets and bathroom areas.
- Collect and remove waste.
- Clean glass surfaces inside and outside the premises.
- Dust hard surfaces thoroughly.
About You
The ideal candidate will have some cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial setting. You should be comfortable working as part of a team, able to follow directions, and also capable of completing tasks independently when required. Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, good customer service skills, and an understanding of workplace health and safety are important. Flexibility to work varied hours and public holidays is also required. Experience using floor-cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers would be an advantage. Applicants must have valid Australian work rights.
