Role Overview
The Resource Manager position involves managing a high volume of contingent recruitment activities throughout Australia and the APAC region for World Wide Technology (WWT). This role partners closely with sales and operational teams worldwide to implement strategic and timely resourcing projects. The role demands innovative thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster long-term relationships. The individual must adeptly identify obstacles impacting the sales process and craft creative solutions to address them. The Resource Manager serves as the regional subject matter expert on strategic resourcing opportunities with strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as both a fulfillment agent and adviser by tailoring creative resourcing solutions tailored to each client engagement.
- Understand internal client challenges and develop comprehensive strategic resourcing approaches and best practice implementations.
- Train internal account teams and clients on optimal resourcing methodologies and their integration.
- Negotiate fulfillment possibilities with stakeholders including account teams, partners, and customers.
- Evaluate and qualify internal and external business opportunities for feasibility.
- Identify and resolve barriers that impede the sales process, devising innovative plans to surmount obstacles.
- Establish, nurture, and expand profitable partnerships within the partner community.
- Address and manage any issues or concerns involving partners throughout business operations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with partners about projects, prospective and current business opportunities.
- Ensure timely updates to partners regarding candidate progress during recruitment cycles.
- Recruit candidates across various departments, locations, and seniority levels including entry-level to director roles.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels to identify and attract a high volume of candidates directly and through staffing partners, while meeting service-level agreements.
- Assess candidate competencies, conduct professional interviews, and facilitate job offer procedures.
- Keep candidate pipelines active and communicate recruitment status consistently.
- Manage comprehensive candidate experience including promotion of roles and company, technical assessments, interview scheduling, feedback summarization, hiring recommendations, offer handling, and overseeing background and pre-employment processes.
Qualifications
- Proven success in managing large-scale full recruitment cycles with multiple key stakeholders, ideally within contingent workforce or staffing sectors across Australia and APAC.
- Considerable experience in technical IT recruitment, especially in Networking, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Security fields.
- Proficiency with recruitment databases, CRM software, Excel, and HR information systems is preferred.
- Consulting expertise and leadership in significant transformation projects, especially regarding staffing initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication complemented by strong interpersonal skills.
- Capability to operate effectively as a strategic resource manager internally and within the resourcing team structure.
- Strong organizational skills including planning and time management.
- Sound judgment with well-developed problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
