Role Overview

This full-time position is for a Research Assistant based in Boston, MA, with a hybrid work setup that allows some remote work. The selected candidate will help advance research projects by gathering and interpreting data, reviewing academic literature, supporting grant-related writing, and preparing reports and presentations. The role also involves coordinating project tasks, working with different teams, and keeping research records organized and accurate.

Key Duties

• Collect, organize, and analyze research data.
• Review academic sources and synthesize findings into literature summaries.
• Assist with drafting grant materials and related documentation.
• Prepare reports, slides, and other presentation materials.
• Help coordinate project timelines and day-to-day research activities.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to move research work forward.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of project progress.

Qualifications

• Hands-on research ability, including data gathering, analysis, and interpretation.
• Comfort with academic writing, literature review work, and research reporting.
• Experience using statistical tools and data visualization software.
• Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for collaboration across disciplines.
• Prior exposure to clinical informatics or healthcare research is desirable.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant area such as Public Health, Healthcare, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Familiarity with IRB procedures and grant submissions is an advantage.
