Requirements Manager – Airport

Role overview

This position is for a seasoned requirements leader who can shape and control the requirements function for a major airport technology transformation initiative. The role focuses on gathering, organizing, prioritizing, governing, and delivering business, operational, and technical needs across several airport workstreams and multiple technology partners.

You will collaborate with airport stakeholders, airlines, solution architects, business analysts, and delivery teams to make sure requirements support the airport’s strategic direction, operational goals, and target technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full requirements lifecycle across the airport program, from capture through delivery.
• Set up and manage requirements standards, processes, governance, and traceability.
• Run workshops and structured requirement-gathering sessions with airport and operational teams.
• Handle requirements for major airport areas such as passenger processing, airport operations, baggage handling, security, asset management, and enterprise services.
• Make sure requirements remain aligned with business priorities, operational demands, and solution architecture.
• Manage scope changes, assess impacts, and coordinate change control.
• Create senior leadership updates covering requirements progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
• Guide and develop a team of business analysts and requirements specialists.
• Promote strong practices, tools, and governance methods for requirements management.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, TOGAF, or Agile are considered highly desirable.
• At least 10 years of experience in business analysis and requirements management is expected.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading requirements teams on large, complex transformation programs.
• Background in airports, aviation, transportation, or other critical infrastructure environments is required.
• Strong capability in requirements governance, traceability, stakeholder management, and change control is needed.
• Experience in multi-vendor delivery or systems integration environments is important.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and requirements management tools is required.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills are essential.

Preferred domain exposure

Experience with airport technology platforms and programs is an advantage, especially in areas such as Airport Operational Data Base (AODB), Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS), Resource Management Systems (RMS), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), Baggage Reconciliation Systems (BRS), CUPPS, CUSS, CUTE, A-CDM, passenger processing, airport security systems, airport systems integration, and ORAT programs.

This is a strategic leadership role focused on ensuring requirements are well controlled and delivered across a large airport transformation environment. The opportunity is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time onsite position.
