Remote Patient Scheduling Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking English-speaking professionals with prior experience to join a remote team as Patient Scheduling Specialists. In this position, you will be the initial contact for patients arranging medical imaging appointments, ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism, care, and efficiency.

This role is well suited to someone who is strong in customer service and can balance accuracy, empathy, and pace while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Take incoming patient calls in a polished and confident manner
• Place follow-up outbound calls when needed
• Handle patient questions by email
• Book, change, and confirm appointments
• Check and correct patient details with precision
• Communicate scheduling rules and appointment preparation steps clearly
• Coordinate professionally with patients and internal teams
• Work across multiple systems while recording every interaction accurately
• Consistently provide a strong patient experience

Contract and Compensation

• Pay rate: USD 5.50 per hour
• Paid on a weekly arrears basis
• Independent contractor arrangement

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday schedule
• No weekend shifts
• Working hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)

Training and Onboarding

• Two weeks of paid product training
• One week of nesting with coaching assistance
• Move into live production immediately after nesting

Equipment and Technical Setup

A company laptop will be sent to selected candidates. Even so, applicants must already have a personal computer that meets the requirements below.

• Windows 11 system; Mac computers are not supported
• Intel i5 processor or better
• At least 16 GB RAM
• Webcam
• USB headset
• Stable fiber internet with a wired Ethernet connection
• Quiet, professional home workspace without distractions
• Second monitor
• Backup power solution is strongly recommended to avoid downtime during outages
