Role Overview
The HR Generalist role involves providing comprehensive human resource services to support candidates, employees, and managers across various locations from a remote setting. Key responsibilities include managing essential HR processes such as employment offers, onboarding activities, employee relations, policy administration, leaves of absence, and terminations through HRIS systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer HR processes including recruitment support, onboarding, employee relations, leave management, and separations.
- Utilize HRIS systems extensively to manage data and process workflows.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to support hiring procedures and provide timely updates.
- Organize and facilitate meetings with managers to ensure alignment on HR matters.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
- Assist with employee benefit inquiries and related issues.
- Support HR management functions around HRIS, benefits administration, and performance management, including acting as backup when required.
- Build and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization to ensure seamless HR operations in a fully virtual workplace.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between three to five years of practical experience in HR functions, especially hiring, onboarding, and HRIS management.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS software, with preference given to experience with UKG.
- Familiarity with employment law, compliance regulations, and processes related to investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Excellent communication capabilities paired with a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced virtual environment.
- Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and the flexibility to adapt to changing organizational priorities.
