Role Overview
We seek a highly skilled Regional Train and Advise Lead with profound Middle Eastern cultural expertise. This role bridges strategic command advising with practical technical deployment, training, and support. The individual will oversee adoption and effective use of Air Defense and Counter-Intrusion technologies among regional stakeholders, leveraging regional networks, cross-cultural communication, and technical proficiency. A key focus is to provide leadership guidance, foster partnerships, and ensure the operational success of Anduril's systems through comprehensive training and advisory activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of tailored technical training programs for Middle Eastern military personnel, including advanced "Train the Trainer" sessions and creation of localized operational materials to facilitate system proficiency.
- Perform operational assessments to identify training needs, capability gaps, and enhance overall system utilization, using feedback and adoption metrics to guide improvements.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with military leadership and operational staff to act as a liaison for effective collaboration.
- Provide operational advisory consulting on mission planning, operational procedures, and tactics, mentoring partners toward sustained and expert system use aligned with their workflows.
- Function as the regional expert ensuring cultural appropriateness, recognizing emerging risks and opportunities impacting program success.
- Support rapid deployment in challenging environments by troubleshooting and maximizing system uptime during critical operations.
- Collect and relay user feedback to engineering and product teams, identifying technical risks and advocating regional-centric solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Mission Operations, Engineering, Product, and Growth to integrate Middle East operational insights into product development and service strategies.
Essential Qualifications
- Fluent Arabic language skills.
- Significant experience in the Middle East, particularly in roles involving train and advise, liaison, engineering, system integration, or foreign military engagement.
- Proven ability to navigate complex multilateral and cross-cultural environments, especially in defense-related training and advisory roles.
- Track record building strong government and military partnerships, including briefing senior leadership on strategic matters.
- Experience designing and delivering military training programs within the region.
- Capability in training development and dynamic presentation to diverse audiences.
- Willingness and capacity for extensive regional and international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background as a foreign area officer, member of military advisory groups, or security cooperation units.
- Expertise in Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) and related technologies.
- Familiarity with air defense technologies including autonomous systems, command and control, and electronic warfare.
- Hands-on experience with deployment, integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of software and hardware systems.
- Formal education in fields such as engineering, security studies, or international relations.
- Completion of regional military command and staff education programs.
