Role Overview
The Raw Materials Specialist is pivotal in supporting manufacturing by ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials. Emphasizing safety first, this role guarantees that all packaging materials are available promptly for manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload, receive, and store inbound raw materials.
- Inspect materials upon arrival for correct quantities and quality adherence, escalating any quality concerns to minimize supply disruptions.
- Record receipt of goods accurately in the SAP system.
- Conduct cycle counts for raw materials as required.
- Stage and replenish materials to beverage line PSAs following the planned schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness in process areas daily to comply with company standards, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience operating forklift types CB (Counter-Balance) and HR (High Reach).
- Familiarity with SAP software preferred.
- Experience in inbound receiving activities including unloading and putaway.
- Proactive team player with strong initiative.
- Effective communication skills.
