Job Overview

The role entails organizing and conducting inspection tasks diligently and professionally at the site. The inspector will monitor materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform inspections in a professional manner.
• Carry out specified inspections on site for materials, equipment, and construction activities.
• Generate quality records and report any non-conformances to the QC Supervisor.
• Confirm compliance with the Quality Control Plan by reviewing documentation, procedures, and required equipment.
• Oversee the correct execution of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Validate special processes and verify worker qualifications.
• Inspect power transformers, switchboards, batteries, sockets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments, cables, and tunings.
• Conduct visual inspections and dimensional tests, checking ratings and connection materials.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas construction industry.
• Certification such as CSWIP, AWS, BGAS, or NACE is mandatory.
• ADNOC approval in Coating/Painting is preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and codes applied during QC surveillance in Construction/EPC projects.
