Overview
Join Tekskills, a reputable IT services and consulting firm based in Bangalore Rural, as a senior Python Software Developer. This position involves working within an agile team to design and deploy secure, scalable, and market-leading technology products, focusing on machine learning and generative AI applications within regulated industries such as BFSI and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to critical technology projects spanning multiple technical domains across various business functions.
- Collaborate extensively with technology teams on large language model (LLM) and generative AI initiatives, including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Partner with Data Science and Cybersecurity teams to develop and deploy machine learning products, ensuring monitoring and compliance standards are met.
- Work alongside DevOps engineers to strategize, automate, and manage data storage and processing architectures using industry best practices in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot innovative software solutions while maintaining strict adherence to quality and security standards through code reviews and debugging.
- Continuously stay updated on emerging advancements in AI, GenAI, and cloud technologies to integrate them effectively into production systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Python programming with at least 4 years of relevant experience; candidates must provide project deliverables or code samples.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining scalable ML-driven products; detailed project references required.
- Hands-on experience of minimum 2 years each on Azure and AWS cloud platforms with evidence of live deployments.
- Experience working within highly regulated sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, or analogous fields; must furnish client or project references.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing secure coding, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
- Practical expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code automation validated by real-world infrastructure projects.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures including microservices, serverless technologies, and container orchestration systems.
- Capability in microservices performance tuning and optimization for real-time application environments, supported by metrics or case studies.
- Holder of at least one Professional-level certification in Azure or AWS, with preference for candidates certified in both.
- Experience working with GenAI and LLM frameworks such as LangChain, HuggingFace, and OpenAI API is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in software engineering and machine learning product development, including at least 2 years focused on GenAI and LLM projects.
- At least 2 years of experience in sectors like BFSI, Asset & Wealth Management, or other highly regulated industries, with documented evidence.
