Role Overview

The Purchaser plays a vital role in managing procurement activities to secure materials, equipment, and services necessary for seamless project delivery. This position entails identifying suppliers, soliciting quotations, analyzing bids, negotiating favorable terms, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with both internal teams and suppliers, all while adhering strictly to procurement policies and procedures to support uninterrupted project workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review incoming purchase requisitions from internal departments.
  • Identify and source qualified suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations.
  • Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to pre-approved vendors.

  • Familiarity with ERP procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of procurement cycle, RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and supplier relationship management.
