Mantra Circle on Cavill is located in the iconic Surfers Paradise area, just a short walk from the light rail. This dual tower resort features one to three bedroom apartments, two lagoon pools, and a 12-seat cinema. Job Purpose

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will play an essential role within the Housekeeping team, ensuring all shared spaces are thoroughly cleaned and well-presented. You will work both independently and collaboratively, while also providing friendly assistance to guests with their questions or requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all indoor and outdoor public areas, including the pool, gym, and shared bathrooms.
• Support room attendants with cleaning tasks and linen removal when needed.
• Safely use specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals following safety guidelines.
• Assist guests proactively with inquiries and security concerns, and coordinate effectively with other departments.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or missing items promptly to the relevant teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.
• Effective communication style that creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills, with pride in workmanship.
• Physically fit and adaptable to work in various environments, including outdoor and staircase areas.
• Ability to collaborate well with a diverse range of team members.
• Reliable transport and willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
