About the Role
Join a passionate and dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health services where client well-being is the priority. We seek a seasoned psychologist to contribute expert clinical services in a vibrant environment that values ongoing professional growth and client-focused care. This position is located in our Wellington office, offering full-time, part-time, or subcontracting opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a daily clinical caseload with approximately 6.5 hours of client contact.
- Work across diverse contracts including ACC Sensitive Claims, Psychological Services, Training for Independence, Pain Management Services, as well as engagements with Police and private referrals.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, Schema therapy, and ACT.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and generate detailed reports.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive client care.

Qualifications and Experience
- Holds an NZPB-accredited Master's degree or higher in Psychology.
- Demonstrated competence in evidence-based talking therapies and clinical assessments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to client interventions.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks independently.
- For neuropsychology roles: vocational registration as a clinical or neuropsychologist and completion of graduate-level neuropsychology coursework are required.
- Understanding of psychopathology and diagnostic frameworks such as DSM-5-TR or ICD 10/11.
Professional Credentials
- Registered with the Psychologists Board of New Zealand prior to employment.
- Holds a valid Annual Practising Certificate.
- Membership with the New Zealand Psychological Society or The New Zealand College for Clinical Psychologists.
Additional Requirements
- Possess a current full New Zealand driver's license.
- Be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or have permanent residency status.
