Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee project delivery end to end, from initial kickoff through final handover. This role serves as the central contact for all project-related matters and requires close coordination with sales and cross-functional teams, as well as regular on-site presence during key implementation stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the project through every phase, starting at kickoff and continuing until handover is complete.
• Serve as the primary contact for all topics related to delivery.
• Synchronize project scope, timelines, and resourcing with sales and other internal functions.
• Develop and maintain communication plans for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep the team engaged and help ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Spend at least half of the working time on site during installation and testing activities.
• Prepare the project budget and track margin performance.
• Handle project financial administration, including invoicing, milestone-linked payments, freight, travel costs, change requests, and contractor payments.
• Manage scope control and lead the change-management process with the client.

Required Skills and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Robotic Automation, IT, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in warehouse management, logistics solutions, 3PL, automation, or a related environment.
• Strong business-level English; an additional European language is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, WMS, or similar IT infrastructure tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region, up to 60–80% of the time.

Additional Information

This position is based onsite in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The role requires at least 50% on-site presence during installation and testing phases, plus frequent business travel across the EMEA region.
