Overview
Gulf Associates is seeking a Project Management Associate to join our advisory team on a critical engagement with a leading industrial technology client in Berlin. This role is pivotal in managing the coordination of commercial research, tracking counterparty activities, and ensuring senior leadership receives timely and accurate information to make well-informed decisions. The position is a permanent, full-time opportunity performed entirely remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client engagement tasks, ensuring all project deadlines and milestones are met effectively.
- Conduct detailed research on market participants and counterparties to analyze their commercial behaviors.
- Support the creation of briefing notes and position papers that clarify complex commercial strategies for clients.
- Track developments in local regulations and sovereign activities that could affect partnerships or investments.
- Keep accurate records of project logs and action items during internal meetings and negotiation support sessions.
- Coordinate the supply of commercial data and evidence for ongoing negotiation processes.
- Compile summary reports visualizing possible investment decision scenarios.
- Collaborate across various time zones to ensure project documentation remains updated and accessible to senior team members.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in research and analytical roles, capable of distinguishing practical realities from theoretical concepts.
- Exceptional writing abilities, able to communicate complex commercial matters clearly and concisely.
- A keen interest in the structure and resolution of large-scale investments and partnerships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple elements simultaneously without losing focus on objectives.
- Maintains strict confidentiality while handling sensitive commercial and partnership data.
- Prefers logical reasoning and factual evidence over generic corporate jargon and standard frameworks.
- High digital competence and self-motivation necessary for productive remote work.
