Project Document Controller

About the Role

Sulzer is hiring a Project Document Controller to assist the Lead Project Manager with end-to-end control of project documentation across international assignments. This position covers customer and supplier document handling, upkeep of document control tools, coordination with multiple functions, and making sure all documentation deliverables are submitted and closed on time. The role offers close interaction with global teams and exposure to international project execution practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and update project document databases and records.
• Set up document structures and maintain document registers for projects.
• Monitor the status and movement of project documents throughout the lifecycle.
• Receive, log, distribute, and upload documents to customer and vendor portals.
• Coordinate document flow with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Gather manufacturer documents in line with contractual obligations.
• Oversee translation, printing, and dispatch of project documentation.
• Assist with client inspections by arranging technical and quality-related paperwork.
• Prepare purchase requests tied to documentation needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Sales, Tendering, Purchasing, Production, PPC, and Project Management teams.
• Work with overseas factories and stakeholders across geographies.
• Take part in project reviews and improvement efforts such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.

Eligibility

This opportunity is intended for candidates with a B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
