Role Summary

We are embarking on the construction of a new Wind Farm at Mt Munro and seek a Project Civil Engineer to provide on-site client-side oversight. This role involves close collaboration with design consultants and contractors to supervise earthworks, protect and relocate services, manage pavement and foundation construction, oversee stormwater and environmental safeguards, ensure proper sealing, and facilitate project handover.

Although titled 'Civil Engineer,' this position encompasses diverse responsibilities including project management, contract oversight, site coordination, health and safety supervision, quality assurance, and problem resolution. This is a full-time, fixed-term engagement spanning three years, located at the site for the duration of the Mt Munro Wind Farm project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver civil engineering support and leadership to on-site teams throughout construction phases.

  • Strong technical foundation in civil engineering, preferably including geotechnical testing expertise.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Experienced in contract management and capable of fulfilling Principal Representative roles.
  • Comfortable with challenging outdoor conditions, including driving on rugged 4WD tracks and working in adverse weather typical of wind farm environments.
  • Residency within commuting distance of Mt Munro wind farm for wellbeing and logistical considerations.
