Role Overview

The Programs Manager role is a full-time, remote position responsible for the comprehensive management of educational courses focused on coding and AI for children aged 5 to 16. Key responsibilities include designing, executing, and overseeing program stages—from initial planning and curriculum updates to delivery, continuous monitoring, and enhancement guided by feedback from learners and stakeholders. This position involves collaboration with instructors, mentors, and partners to ensure exceptional learning outcomes, effective scheduling, and optimal resource distribution.

Daily duties encompass tracking key performance indicators of programs, generating reports, boosting learner engagement, and ensuring all initiatives align with the organization’s mission and quality standards. The manager will work closely with senior leadership on strategies for program expansion, trial new course offerings, and sustain communication with caregivers, educational institutions, and community organizations.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in managing educational or youth-oriented programs or projects, especially within edtech.
• Expertise in curriculum design, instructional coordination, or learning experience development, particularly in coding, technology, or AI education.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple programs and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and experience in managing diverse stakeholders including educators, parents, schools, and community partners.
• Competence in using digital collaboration tools and platforms for tracking and reporting program progress.
• Firm dedication to child-centric education promoting inclusivity and equity, sensitive to diverse African cultural contexts.
• Analytical capability to assess data, evaluate program success, and suggest improvements for greater impact and scalability.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Program Management, Social Sciences, Business, or related disciplines; equivalent experience also considered valuable.
• Interest or background in coding, AI, or STEM education, with preference for experience in edtech startups or innovation hubs.

Compensation

The initial remuneration for this role is 30,000 Nigerian Naira per month, applicable for the first six months.
