Production Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-focused Production Assistant to join our Production Team. This position offers hands-on experience throughout all phases of production including planning before shoots, assisting on set, and coordinating during post-production. The ideal candidate demonstrates passion, precision, and a drive to help produce engaging and high-quality visual content. Candidates must be able to commit to at least a 24-week (6 months) internship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize necessary materials for shooting sessions.
• Manage schedules and maintain communication with team members and vendors.
• Assist with scouting locations and securing permits.
• Support on-site operations during shoots to ensure smooth execution.
• Handle setting up, dismantling, and basic upkeep of production equipment.
• Assist with props handling, wardrobe coordination, and other production needs.
• Organize and oversee media files and essential production documentation.
• Work collaboratively with editors and post-production teams.
• Monitor project deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain production logs, budgeting, and scheduling records.
• Track and control inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as directed by the production manager or team.

Requirements

• Possessing or pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Communications, Media, Film Studies, or related fields.
• A strong interest in film, video, or media production.
• Familiarity with office tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is essential.
• Basic understanding of production equipment and software like Adobe Premiere Pro and camera operations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Available for a commitment of a minimum 24-week internship period.
