We are collaborating with a reputable food service organisation to find a commercially focused Procurement Excellence Manager who will elevate procurement capabilities within a complex, dynamic, and expanding environment. This pivotal role bridges procurement, operations, and business transformation.

Instead of direct category management, the emphasis lies on enhancing procurement governance, embedding best practices, and refining systems, reporting, and frameworks that facilitate increased procurement efficiency. The selected individual will be integral in advancing operational maturity, enhancing supplier performance, and supporting the organisation’s continuous growth.

Working in partnership with stakeholders from Product Development, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations departments, the role involves pinpointing opportunities to streamline processes, boost data and reporting capabilities, strengthen supplier governance, and adopt scalable procurement solutions. This role suits someone enthusiastic about solving intricate operational problems, influencing key stakeholders, and developing bespoke procurement processes that generate measurable commercial and operational gains.

Key Responsibilities

This comprehensive procurement position is accountable for enhancing supplier management, procurement governance, reporting mechanisms, KPI formulation, procurement system improvements, and ongoing improvement projects. A significant aspect includes detecting inefficient processes, minimizing manual tasks, and deploying practical, scalable enhancements that elevate procurement performance, ensure compliance, and increase operational effectiveness.
