Overview
As a Private Banking Executive at Barclays in Dubai, you will support Private Bankers and Wealth Managers by assisting in client acquisition, service, and retention to meet overall business targets. Acting as a primary liaison for clients on daily operational issues, you will also contribute to marketing banking and investment products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders, ensuring trusted interactions across diverse client groups and internal teams.
- Take charge of client servicing initiatives, including organizing service engagement plans and leading client service review sessions to enhance customer experience.
- Serve as the main point of contact for complex servicing requests, account inquiries, and facilitate communication between relationship and specialist teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal areas such as Operations and Business Management to efficiently handle client administration and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies, supporting risk management and governance processes.
- Prepare meticulously for client meetings and deliver high-quality support related to correspondence, documentation, and annual client reviews.
- Contribute actively to team projects fostering a culture of collaboration and support.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience managing client relationships, particularly with senior stakeholders, within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or similar client-facing sectors.
- Proficient understanding of banking products, operational workflows, risk controls, lending, and security protocols.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory frameworks including KYC, AML, governance, and risk control procedures.
- Exceptionally organized with precise attention to administrative details and operational accuracy.
- Solid command of PC applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Multilingual abilities are preferred, especially in English plus Hebrew, French, Italian, Western European languages, Russian, or Arabic.

- Capable of leveraging digital platforms to address evolving client needs effectively.

- Leadership qualities or technical expertise development within assigned areas, including mentoring team members or acting as an advisor.
- Ability to influence and advise decision-making and contribute to risk management and control strengthening.

The role is based in Dubai and involves working closely across various bank functions to enhance the end-to-end client experience.
