Team Overview
The Global Partners Organisation (GPO) at Workday develops and scales a robust partner ecosystem to enhance customer success and company growth. This team partners with Sales, Services, Marketing, and Product units to drive partner-influenced pipeline, assure partner readiness, and maintain customer experience quality through partnerships.
Role Summary
- Act as the primary Workday representative for assigned partners in Singapore with responsibility for long-term partner strategies focused on partner-sourced annual contract value (ACV) and pipeline.
- Recruit and evaluate new referral, alliance, and global system integrator (GSI) partners, foster partner practice capabilities, certifications, and delivery excellence.
- Direct joint business planning, governance (including quarterly and monthly business reviews, executive meetings), performance tracking, risk mitigation, and manage opportunities collaboratively with sales teams.
- Coordinate partner enablement, marketing initiatives, and customer success collaborations to drive revenue and positive outcomes for clients.
- Represent Workday credibly to C-suite stakeholders at partner organizations and prospects.
- Serve as an internal advocate for partners by influencing ASEAN partner strategies, sharing best practices, and mentoring junior partner managers.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years in partner development, alliance management, channel sales, or enterprise technology sales with a proven record of generating partner-driven revenue and enhancing partner practices in a non-resell environment.
- Experience managing strategic partners or alliances in Singapore across system integrators, referral, or advisory models.
- Successful track record in creating and executing joint business plans with clear revenue and practice targets.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore enterprise market, industry sectors, buying behavior, and local partner landscape.
- Executive presence and confidence in dealings with C-suite partners and prospects.
- Background in enterprise SaaS or cloud applications, particularly in HCM, Finance, ERP or related areas.
- Excellent communication abilities to craft compelling business cases and present to leadership levels.
- Self-driven with sound commercial acumen, accountability, and capacity to work both independently and within a regional team.
Additional Advantages
- Prior experience within Workday’s ecosystem as a partner or ally, such as SI, ISV, or advisory partner.
- Existing networks within Singapore’s HR technology consulting and advisory services sectors.
- Exposure to Singapore public sector engagements, familiarity with government procurement and GovTech partner frameworks.
- Competence in data analysis for performance tracking, partner reviews, and actionable insights.
- Experience designing co-branded demand generation campaigns with external organizations.
- Knowledge of partner performance tools, CRM systems such as Salesforce or Partner Center, and revenue attribution methods; Sigma tool familiarity is beneficial.
- Previous representation of technology vendors at senior executive events.
- High adaptability and dedication to learning about evolving Workday products, programs, and partner dynamics.
Work Arrangement

Team members are expected to spend at least half their working time each quarter at the office or in the field engaging with customers, prospects, and partners.
