Power BI Developer/Analyst (FinTech)

Position Overview

United Solutions is inviting applications for a Mid-level Power BI Developer/Analyst to strengthen our Ireland team. We seek a data-centric expert proficient in Power BI who can skillfully process and interpret large financial datasets, automate reporting workflows, and deliver insightful presentations to top management including C-suite executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and sustain dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Analyze and manage extensive data streams sourced from multiple platforms.
• Implement automated processes for data gathering, transformation, and preparation to enhance dashboard reporting efficiency.
• Partner with business units to comprehend reporting specifications and key performance indicators.
• Maintain and verify accuracy, quality, and uniformity of data within reporting solutions.
• Communicate insights, analytical results, and dashboard walkthroughs to senior leadership and executive teams.
• Proactively identify and leverage improvements in reporting workflows and business decision processes through data analytics.
• Contribute to continuous refinement and upgrading of BI tools and reporting functionalities.

Candidate Requirements

• Residency in Ireland with capability to work onsite three days per week as per hybrid work schedule.
• At least three years of practical experience with the complete Power BI suite including Desktop, Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages to support data analytics and automation needs.
• Strong professional background in Finance, FinTech, or Accounting sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis methodologies and visualization best practices.
• Experience handling large and complex datasets.
• Superior communication skills along with confident presentation abilities for engaging senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English required.
