Deskripsi pekerjaan
Overview
Mindrift pairs subject-matter experts with project-based AI work for major technology companies. The focus is on assessing, testing, and refining AI systems. This is a project assignment rather than a permanent job.
Opportunity Scope
Contributors on this project may be asked to complete finance-focused evaluation work such as:
- Building and reviewing quarterly business review situations that compare performance with benchmarks, check allocation drift against IPS tolerance limits, and spot meaningful changes in fund documents.
- Creating test scenarios for rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting, including cost basis handling, short-term versus long-term capital gains, and application of the wash-sale rule.
- Drafting suitability checks that examine risk appetite, investment time horizon, restricted holdings, and concentration rules against an investor's Investment Policy Statement.
- Preparing fee analysis cases that compare portfolio-weighted expense ratios, advisory charges, and total all-in costs with category benchmarks.
- Writing clear test cases with checked calculations, policy references, and final answers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This work is suited to professionals from investment management, financial advisory, or related financial services backgrounds who are comfortable with flexible, part-time project work.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or another relevant discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance, investing, accounting, or financial services is expected.
- Recent or current exposure to advisory, portfolio management, or a closely related role is desirable.
- Hands-on understanding of portfolio performance analysis, tax-lot accounting, wash-sale rules, and Investment Policy Statements is important.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, CPWA, CIMA, or CIPM are an added advantage.
- Strong written English at C1 level or above is required.
Process and Engagement
The usual flow is to apply, complete the qualification steps, join a project, carry out the tasks, and then receive payment.
For this assignment, the expected workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week during active periods. This is only an estimate and may vary based on project needs.
Compensation
Contributors on this project may earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on expertise and work pace. Pay levels can differ from one project to another based on scope and complexity.
Application Note
Please share your CV in English and mention your English proficiency level when applying.
Important Information
