Overview
We are seeking individuals with PhDs in quantitative finance to participate in an advanced AI project focused on evaluating and improving models that handle complex financial and quantitative reasoning tasks. This position is a fully remote contract role offering flexibility and an opportunity to significantly influence how AI models interpret and process financial data and quantitative concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content related to quantitative finance.
- Create and respond to questions concerning financial modeling, applied mathematics, and quantitative finance.
- Review and score responses crafted by AI systems in specialized financial contexts.
Qualifications
- PhD completed or near completion in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative discipline emphasizing finance.
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative methodologies including stochastic processes, derivatives pricing, econometric analysis, risk assessment, or computational finance techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to detect nuanced errors in quantitative problem-solving.
- Strong proficiency in written English and effective communication of complex technical information.
Preferred Attributes
- Research experience in academic or professional environments, including roles on buy-side or sell-side quantitative teams.
- Previous involvement with AI data annotation or model evaluation projects.
- Experience in publishing or reviewing scholarly financial research.
Compensation
Pay rate can reach up to 150 USD per hour, contingent on expertise depth, experience, and quality of evaluation.
Work Arrangement and Eligibility
This role is entirely remote. Applications are accepted from candidates based in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Argentina.
Additional Information
This is a short-term project lasting through the end of June, with a possibility for extension depending on project needs.
