Role Overview

We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Technician to join our team in Sligo on a 12-month fixed-term contract involving rotational shift work. The role involves producing drug product materials adhering strictly to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pharmaceutical processing tasks within manufacturing and support locations.
  • Coordinate team activities to enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Document all operational activities following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Participate in cross-training within the team and help train new members.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to upgrade quality, safety, environmental, and production systems.
  • Carry out commissioning and validation protocols regularly.
  • Maintain cGMP standards across pharmaceutical processing areas.
  • Comply fully with Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) standards, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a third-level qualification, preferably in Engineering or Science, or have at least two years of experience working in a GMP-regulated setting.
  • Experience operating in highly automated environments is advantageous.
  • Proficient IT skills are essential.
