Paytm EDC Field Executive

Role Overview

Paytm is looking to hire for its EDC operations in Alipurduar, Coochbehar, and Jalpaiguri. This is a field-based opportunity for someone who can handle on-site device setup, ongoing support, and customer interaction while helping maintain smooth payment operations.

Compensation

Key Work Areas

• Carry out field visits for installation, setup, and configuration of payment devices.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve issues related to payment hardware and associated software.
• Perform routine preventive checks and maintenance to keep devices working reliably.
• Support customers on-site and maintain strong service relationships through clear communication.
• Travel locally within Jalpaiguri and nearby locations as required.
• Work independently, organize daily tasks efficiently, and keep accurate service documentation.

Skills and Knowledge

• Working knowledge of digital payments, UPI, and POS systems is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting ability for field devices and basic technical systems.
• Strong customer handling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate well and solve problems on the spot.
• Comfort with local-language communication and basic English.

Eligibility and Education

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma. A vocational or technical certification in electronics, IT, or a related area will be considered an added advantage. Applicants must be comfortable with field work and local travel in and around Jalpaiguri.
