Job description
Position Summary
Randwick City Council invites applications for a permanent, full-time Parking Patrol Officer role, working 38 hours per week on-site. The position involves conducting thorough parking patrols and enforcing parking and road regulations within designated areas, adhering strictly to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular parking patrols on foot across assigned zones according to a rostered schedule.
- Evaluate adherence to parking and traffic rules, administering enforcement measures when necessary.
- Engage effectively and professionally with internal teams and the community, maintaining a customer-focused approach and avoiding conflicts.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Understand and accurately apply NSW Road Rules and applicable legislation and council policies with accountability and professionalism.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks within set timeframes and guidelines.
- Hold and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license at all times.
Additional Details
- This employment is conditioned upon a successful Criminal History Check free of relevant negative findings.
- The salary range is $74,579 to $85,766 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
