The Merthyr Tydfil site houses beef and lamb processing and packing operations, delivering retail-ready cuts and branded packaged products sourced locally from farmers and overseen by experienced butchers to ensure premium quality.
Role Overview
The company is seeking Packing Operatives to join the busy Beef Boning Departments at its Merthyr Tydfil facility. This full-time permanent role involves starting early mornings and working Monday to Friday with varying finish times dependent on daily production needs.
Key Duties
- Collaborate effectively within a team to meet daily production targets.
- Pack meat products accurately into the designated boxes and packaging.
- Handle heavy lifting and movement of substantial items as part of the role.
- Transport packed items across different areas of the factory.
- Use provided personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Job Details and Conditions
The work schedule begins at either 5:30am or 6:00am with the finish time varying based on production volume. The remuneration rate is £12.90 per hour. Immediate availability is preferred for candidates applying.
