Operations Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations, focusing on strategic oversight, customer engagement, financial management, and ongoing process improvements. This hands-on role requires a leader who excels in a fast-paced logistics setting and who drives excellence in operations via effective leadership, process optimization, and technology use.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring top-tier service delivery, efficiency in processes, and high customer satisfaction.
• Enhance site productivity by refining workflows, optimizing resource allocation, improving facility layout, and implementing warehouse automation projects.
• Manage budgets and profit and loss accounts, focusing on cost efficiency without compromising service quality.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers, acting as a principal operational contact for business review meetings, contract negotiations, and scaling business opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Six Sigma methodologies and digital transformation programs to boost operational performance.
• Coordinate workforce planning, oversee performance evaluations, and forecast capacity needs to align with business growth and demand patterns.
• Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety and Health standards, Ministry of Manpower regulations, Singapore Civil Defence Force requirements, and company policies.
• Utilize operational metrics and business intelligence dashboards to analyze performance and guide strategy and operational enhancements.
• Provide insightful reports and operational updates to customers and senior management through quarterly business reviews and executive meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years’ experience in managerial roles within contract logistics or supply chain sectors.
• Experienced in profit and loss oversight, budgeting, and overall operational leadership.
• Skilled in leading Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence, or similar continuous improvement efforts.
• Commercially savvy with a history of managing customer contracts, service level agreements, and pricing frameworks.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strategically minded with a capacity to enhance business outcomes through people management, process innovation, and technology adoption.
