Role Overview

Bid Digest is looking for a full-time Operations & Growth Lead to work onsite in Kampala. The role centers on keeping daily operations running effectively across bidding, client handling, and project coordination while also shaping growth plans that support expansion and stronger business performance.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves improving internal workflows, coordinating with product and support teams, managing relationships with clients and partners, and using data to identify ways to improve service delivery. The role also includes building growth initiatives, setting and monitoring performance targets, reviewing key metrics, preparing reports, leading cross-functional efforts, and contributing to strategic decisions that support user acquisition and retention.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should bring strong experience in operations, process improvement, and performance tracking, along with business development or growth exposure such as market analysis, stakeholder management, and partnership building. The role also calls for solid project management capability, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Comfort using digital tools and technology platforms is important, and experience in construction, proptech, or SaaS is an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Higher-level qualifications are considered an advantage.

This is an onsite position based in Kampala, Central Region, Uganda. The company’s broader goal is to help reshape the construction industry through better coordination, transparency, and technology-enabled project management.
