Operations Director

Overview

We are actively looking for a seasoned and strategic Operations Director to spearhead the operational blueprint of our organization. This role involves steering business performance and ensuring the smooth delivery of services and products across all departments. The Director will supervise daily operations, enhance processes, govern cross-functional teams, and roll out programs that boost productivity, quality, profitability, and customer experience while underpinning the company's strategic ambitions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement operational strategies that are in line with the company's goals and objectives.
• Take charge of everyday business activities to improve efficiency, output, and quality of service.
• Set up and track operational key performance indicators, business metrics, and dashboards to measure effectiveness.
• Manage budgeting, resource distribution, forecasting, and control operational expenditures.
• Lead initiatives aimed at refining business processes and continuous enhancements.
• Oversee digital transformation efforts and modernize operational approaches.
• Guarantee adherence to company policies, industry laws, and quality benchmarks.
• Recognize and address operational risks ensuring continuity in business functions.
• Work hand-in-hand with executive leadership to support strategic growth and planning.
• Supervise supply chain, facilities management, procurement, and operational support as applicable.
• Mentor and develop management personnel to enhance leadership qualities and organizational strength.
• Encourage cross-departmental collaboration to elevate operational performance.
• Compile executive briefings, presentations, and performance evaluations.
• Manage partnerships with vendors, collaborators, and stakeholders to meet operational targets.
• Keep abreast of new trends, innovative technologies, and best operational practices within the industry.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or relevant disciplines is required.
• Advanced qualifications like a Master's degree or MBA are highly desirable.
• Comprehensive expertise in operations management, strategic direction, and process improvement.
• Proven experience overseeing extensive operations, organizational change, and diverse teams.
• Knowledgeable in methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with major ERP software including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalents.
• Strong capabilities in financial oversight, budgeting, and business analytics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Power BI, Microsoft Project, and BI tools.
