Overview
This opportunity is exclusively open to current employees of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The Occupational Therapist rotational program provides a chance to gain hands-on experience across multiple clinical specialties including Adult and Older Adult Mental Health, Community Reablement, Children and Young People's Services, Acute Medicine, Surgery and Trauma Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke Care and Rehabilitation, General and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Community Neurology, Continuing Healthcare, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and Learning Disabilities.

Participants in this program will benefit from guidance by experienced specialist staff through regular supervision and a structured preceptorship program tailored for newly qualified practitioners. Annual appraisals and extensive opportunities for ongoing professional development are available, emphasizing continuous learning and clinical effectiveness within occupational therapy services.

Work Conditions and Additional Details

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience gained through varied clinical placements
- Solid understanding of professional ethics and their practical application
- Knowledge of occupational therapy outcome measures
- Willingness and ability to travel within the area and maintain flexible working hours
