About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Night Shift Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Technician to join Micron Technology's Yield Enhancement lab within Technology Development at our Singapore location. This role involves operating and performing minor maintenance on Focused Ion Beam (FIB) equipment used for TEM analysis to support pilot and manufacturing lines. The successful candidate will contribute to technological advancement through precise equipment handling within a night shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate FIB/TEM instruments for NAND technology node development.
- Collaborate closely with process and integration engineers to manage requests and priorities effectively.
- Maintain communication channels with team members and suppliers concerning equipment status, troubleshooting, and support.
- Manage product feeding into equipment, diagnose operational issues, and optimize tool functionality.
- Utilize approved AI-driven tools to enhance lab procedures and uphold lab safety standards.
- Adhere to responsible AI, data security, and quality control protocols when managing technical data, imaging, logs, and internal communications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
- Willingness and ability to work permanent night shifts.
- Capacity to work autonomously and make informed decisions during off-hours.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with day-shift colleagues through comprehensive handovers.
- Availability to support occasional overtime and emergency responses.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and provide solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and OneNote.
- Experience with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) or FIB platforms is advantageous.
