Network Data SME - Juniper and Aruba L2

Role overview

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Network Data SME at L2 level in Bengaluru to support enterprise networking operations across LAN, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi environments. Key responsibilities

• Provide support and ongoing maintenance for LAN, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and manage networking hardware such as Juniper switches (EX series and above), Juniper routers, and HPE switches.
• Configure and maintain Fortinet SD-WAN components, including WAN and firewall setups.
• Work with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls to help maintain security and network reliability.
• Apply working knowledge of Aruba wireless environments.
• Partner with the team to distribute workload efficiently and serve as additional operational support for network tasks.
• Set up and manage alert monitoring based on the monitoring tools available in the environment.
• Independently diagnose network issues, isolate root causes quickly, and deliver fixes within SLA expectations.
• Create and maintain operational documentation such as runbooks and SOPs.
• Work in a 24x7 support model, including shifts and on-call duties.
• Communicate effectively with architects, service owners, business leaders, and other technical teams.
• Support the training and guidance of L1 and L2 team members.
• Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, configuration, and change management.
