The ideal candidate will have a BSc degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Molecular Microbiology or another relevant scientific subject. Prior lab experience in a commercial setting is helpful, but it is not mandatory because complete training will be provided to the right person.

Useful experience

• Hands-on aseptic laboratory practice
• Experience with DNA extraction and purification
• Knowledge of PCR and qPCR methods
• Exposure to DNA sequencing platforms and workflows
• Experience working in ISO 9001, GMP or other controlled quality systems is an advantage, though not essential
