MIS Specialist

About the Role

Annapurna Spices in Rajpura, Punjab, seeks a meticulous and analytical MIS Specialist to handle and analyze critical business data. This role involves preparing detailed MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, maintaining accurate data records, designing dashboards, and delivering insightful data support to management for enhancing business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering sales, production, inventory, dispatch, attendance, and HR metrics.
• Maintain and verify data accuracy from multiple departments including Sales, Production, Accounts, HR, Inventory, and Logistics using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Design and update dynamic dashboards for management to monitor performance indicators.
• Manage employee attendance and leave records; maintain master databases ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct trend analysis of sales and business performance, track departmental KPIs and KRAs, and prepare performance review reports.
• Identify discrepancies in data and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and daily backup of MIS files.
• Coordinate smoothly with various departments for effective data collection and support report automation using advanced Excel and Google Sheets tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, IF statements, SUMIF, and INDEX-MATCH as well as Google Sheets.
• Competent in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong capabilities in data analysis and reporting, with an aptitude for creating insightful dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, MBA, or related fields; certification in Advanced Excel or MIS is an advantage.

Experience

One to three years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or reporting, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing sectors.

Compensation and Work Schedule

Monthly salary ranges between ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 depending on expertise and qualifications.

Working days are Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Aim for 100% timely submission of MIS reports.
• Maintain data accuracy above 99%.
• Ensure zero critical errors in reporting.
• Update dashboards promptly and coordinate effectively across departments.
